Our Mission

The Atwater Park Civic Association is dedicated to the preservation, maintenance and vitality of our neighbor as it relates to the City of Springfield.  The APCA, through meetings, events and communications, seeks to enrich the lives of our fellow neighbors, and continue to foster positive relationships with our partners in the North End, and develop unity as a community to act in unison on important issues facing us as neighbors.  Through sharing the history of our neighborhood and its wonderful homes, we strive to instill pride through knowing the planning and history behind this wonderful place we call home.

In 2015, APCA plans to work with the City of Springfield, Baystate Health Systems and other organizations to continue the efforts to improve the quality of life for Atwater Park residents, including physical improvements, social events and educational opportunities.

The APCA is comprised of a Steering Committee, which works as a collaborative team to carry out the mission of the Association.  Every resident is urged to participate in the APCA meetings, held monthly.
